Akron Holding from Tolyatti reached a preliminary agreement to acquire Elektroshchit and its Samara division Russkiy Transformer from Schneider Electric. The deal involves full integration of Elektroshchit into Akron Holding, including assumption of all liabilities.

Akron has opened its new production plant 'Akron 4' in the Parque Industrial de San Francisco, Córdoba, Argentina. The plant will focus on manufacturing and finishing dry grain baggers for export. Total investment in 2021 is USD 7.7 million.
