Energy Recovery announced orders valued at nearly $33 million for PX energy recovery devices to be installed in seawater reverse osmosis desalination plants in Saudi Arabia. The orders are expected to be fulfilled by the end of 2025.
Energy Recovery has received contract awards totaling over $7 million to supply PX Pressure Exchanger devices and pumps for several seawater reverse osmosis desalination projects in Spain. Orders are expected to be fulfilled in 2025, and one project is a retrofit using the PX Q300.
Energy Recovery was awarded contracts totaling over $12 million for PX energy recovery devices for three seawater reverse osmosis desalination projects in the United Arab Emirates, including a floating desalination barge in the Arabian Gulf. Orders are expected to ship by Q4 2024.
Energy Recovery was awarded USD 23.5 million to supply PX Pressure Exchanger devices and equipment to desalination projects in the Middle East and North Africa, including the largest contract in its history for the Taweelah SWRO plant near Abu Dhabi. Shipments run from Q1 2020 through the first half of 2021.
