TKG Huchems breaks ground on specialty chemical plants in Yeosu
TKG Huchems started construction of a nitric acid plant (400,000 tonnes/year) and an MNB plant (300,000 tonnes/year) at its Yeosu complex, investing KRW 250 billion. Commercial production is targeted for the second half of 2023.

Daewoo E&C wins 162.4B KRW contract for TKG Huchems chemical plant in Yeosu
Daewoo E&C won a 162.4 billion KRW EPC contract from TKG Huchems to build a new nitric acid (400,000 tons/year) and mononitrobenzene (300,000 tons/year) plant in Yeosu, South Korea. The first phase completion is set for July 31, 2023.
