Biocomposites

Novo Holdings A/S and TA Associates Management, L.P. will acquire joint control of Matrix Topco Limited (Biocomposites) through a purchase of shares, as notified to the European Commission on 22 January 2025.

Biocomposites acquired the remaining shares in Laboratorios SL S.A. and Synergie Ingénierie Médicale S.A.R.L., gaining full control of the SYNICEM and Subiton antibiotic bone cement product ranges.

Biocomposites has entered into a multi-year agreement with Zimmer Biomet for exclusive distribution of the upgraded genex Bone Graft Substitute in the U.S. orthopaedic market. The product includes a new closed-mixing system and expanded delivery options.
