GCC has hired ThyssenKrupp Polysius North America to build a 3000t/day clinker production line at its Odessa plant in Texas, expected to more than double clinker capacity to 2Mt/yr by late 2025.

GCC has commissioned thyssenkrupp Polysius North America to build a 3,000-mtpd clinker production line (expandable to 3,500 mtpd) at its Odessa, Texas plant. Start-up is anticipated as early as Q4 2025.

GCC will execute a capacity expansion at its Odessa, Texas cement plant, increasing annual cement production capacity by over one million metric tons, with a $750 million investment and completion by mid-2025.

GCC signed an EPC contract with ThyssenKrupp Polysius to upgrade its integrated Samalayuca plant in Mexico, increasing clinker capacity, alternative fuel usage, and reducing emissions. Work begins in 2022 with operations scheduled for Q2 2023.
