Grupo Calidra

Graymont and Grupo Calidra entered into an agreement to purchase the global lime and limestone business of Sibelco group, including operations in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Argentina, and Chile. Graymont will acquire assets in Asia-Pacific, while Grupo Calidra will acquire operations in Argentina and Chile.

Caltek, a joint venture between Cementos Argos and Grupo Calidra, inaugurated a new lime production plant in Puerto Triunfo, Antioquia, Colombia. The plant has a capacity of 90,000 tonnes per year and required an investment of over 113 billion Colombian pesos.
