Bidfood Horeca Service, a Belgian foodservice wholesaler, has doubled its freezer and cold storage space at its facility in Beringen, Belgium, by installing a new ammonia refrigeration system from GEA. The expansion doubled the freezer area to 4,000 m² and expanded cold storage by 1,100 m², achieving a 50% energy reduction compared to the old HFC system.
