Alpha Engineered Composites

Alpha Engineered Composites acquired the Textile Division of McAllister Mills, effective September 23, 2025. The acquisition includes manufacturing assets and product lines such as fiberglass, basalt and silica fabrics, tapes, ropes and sleeving, and operations will continue at McAllister's Independence, Virginia facility.

Trelleborg Group, through Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, acquired the Fairprene and FluoroSeal product brands, production equipment, customer base, and intellectual property from Alpha Engineered Composites. The acquisition was finalized on December 30, 2021.

Trelleborg Industrial Solutions acquired the coated fabrics business of US-based Alpha Engineered Composites, gaining access to heat-resistant silicone coated fabrics. The deal was completed on 30 December 2021.

Trelleborg Group finalized the acquisition of a division of US-based Alpha Engineered Composites that produces polymer coated fabrics for niche applications. The division had annual sales of approximately SEK 90 million. The transaction was consolidated as of 30 December 2021.
