Vitamin Well Group has agreed to acquire Belgium-based CDMO EMPWR from Waterland Private Equity Investments. The deal aims to strengthen the Barebells protein bar business and includes EMPWR's four manufacturing facilities in Croatia, the Netherlands, the United States and Canada.

EMPWR will invest 150 million kuna to expand its factory in Nova Gradiška, Croatia, increasing production capacity by 30% and adding 50 jobs. The company produces high-protein chocolate bars.
