Goldwind

Goldwind inaugurated a new wind turbine factory in Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil, its first manufacturing facility outside China. The plant can produce up to 150 turbines per year and represents an investment of R$ 100 million, expected to create up to 100 direct and 500 indirect jobs.

VENSYS Energy AG, a Goldwind Group member, secured its first order in Greece from R-ENERGY 1 Holdings to supply two 4.1 MW wind turbines for the Boeotia wind farm, including a 10-year maintenance agreement. Installation is scheduled for Q3-Q4 2023, commissioning for Q3 2024.

Goldwind is in advanced talks to install a wind turbine factory in Brazil, with deliveries expected to start in 2024. The location is not yet defined.

The Port of Almería will serve as the shipping and receiving point for wind turbines from the Vensys-Goldwind Group for Spain. The first turbine, a 3-4 MW unit from the 3x family, will be delivered for the Guadix experimental wind farm in Granada.
