Mitsubishi Power and Sepco 3 awarded turnkey contract for Alba power plant expansion
Mitsubishi Power and Sepco 3 were awarded a full turnkey contract by Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) to increase the capacity of Power Station 5 by 680.9 MW with a new combined-cycle gas turbine block. Commercial operations are scheduled for Q4 2024.

Sepco 3 awarded EPC contract for 2.4GW Luxor IPP in Egypt
China's Sepco 3 was awarded an EPC contract by Acwa Power on 24 November 2020 for the Luxor independent power producer project in Egypt. The plant will have 2.389GW capacity using combined cycle gas turbine technology.
