CHIMEI

CHIMEI officially commissioned a new ABS production plant in Zhangzhou, China, with an initial capacity of 450,000 tonnes per year, to be increased to 600,000 tonnes. This raises CHIMEI's total annual ABS capacity to 2.6 million tonnes.

Lummus Technology Inc. won a contract to provide technology licensing, process design packaging, operator training and technical assistance for Zhangzhou CHIMEI's Diphenyl Carbonate plant in Fujian, China. The plant, with a capacity of 156 KTPA, is scheduled for operation by Q4 2024.
