OrbusNeich and Cardiovascular Systems Inc. (CSI), a subsidiary of Abbott Laboratories, amended their distribution agreement to extend OrbusNeich's appointment of CSI as exclusive distributor of coronary and peripheral balloon products in the US until December 31, 2027.

Abbott has completed the acquisition of Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (CSI), a medical device company with an innovative atherectomy system for treating peripheral and coronary artery disease. CSI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Abbott.

Abbott has agreed to acquire Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (CSI) for $20 per share, with a total equity value of approximately $890 million. CSI's atherectomy system treats peripheral and coronary artery disease.

Cardiovascular Systems Inc. (CSI) has partnered with Innova Vascular Inc. to develop and commercialize a full line of thrombectomy devices for treating peripheral vascular disease, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. CSI intends to acquire and commercialize the devices pending regulatory clearance.

Cardiovascular Systems Inc (CSI) partnered with Innova Vascular to develop a full line of novel thrombectomy devices for peripheral vascular disease. CSI provided financing and has an option to acquire the devices upon completion of milestones.

Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (CSI) has acquired a line of peripheral support catheters from WavePoint Medical, LLC. CSI plans to introduce them as the ViperCross line in fiscal year 2022.
