Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO) and Fauji Cement Company Limited acquired a 92.03% controlling stake in Attock Cement Pakistan Limited. The transaction was executed on April 24, 2026.

KAPCO and Fauji Cement Company Limited entered into a sale and purchase agreement to jointly acquire 84.06% of Attock Cement Pakistan Limited from Pharaon Investment Group. Each purchaser will acquire 42.03% of the shares. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and a public offer.

The board of Fauji Cement Company Limited has approved setting up a Greenfield Cement Manufacturing Plant of 2.05 million tons per annum at Dera Ghazi Khan, subject to regulatory approvals. Construction is expected to start within the current financial year and take about 2.5 years.
