Distrupol

Distrupol, an affiliate of GPD Companies, has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire Oy Baritec AB, a Nordic distributor of plastics and plastic additives. The deal is expected to close at the end of April 2022.

Distrupol, a European distributor of thermoplastics and elastomers and an affiliate of GPD Companies, has acquired Lautrup Chemicals A/S, a leading distributor of polymers in Scandinavia. Terms were not disclosed.

Wittmann Battenfeld (WIBA) UK partnered with injection moulder Thornbury Manufacturing Limited (TML) to produce PPE face shields after a government order. Production began within 21 days of tooling.
