Scott Bader

The University of Liverpool and Scott Bader established Polymer Mimetics, a joint venture to develop a novel polymer chemistry platform. The new company will be a registered subsidiary of Scott Bader, which is the majority shareholder, and will be based in Liverpool, England.

Scott Bader has secured Biesterfeld Spezialchemie as a distribution partner for its resins, gelcoats, and acrylic dispersions in the CASE and Performance Products segments across multiple European regions, including DACH, Poland, and others.

SAERTEX announced a strategic partnership with Scott Bader for the production and distribution of the SAERTEX LEO system, a fire protection line of materials combining multiaxial noncrimp fabrics and a specifically designed resin system.

Scott Bader installed a new mixer at its Structural Adhesives facility in Wollaston, UK, to expand production capacity for Crestabond primer-less MMA structural adhesives. The investment was over EUR 400,000.
