Clauger

Soteck Clauger has developed a high-temperature heat pump using HFO refrigerant R1233zd for an industrial cheese factory in Quebec. The heat pump can produce water at temperatures over 85°C, suitable for pasteurization in the dairy industry.

Clauger collaborated with Emerson's Vilter Industrial Solutions to develop an industrial heat pump application for the European market, using a Vilter single-screw compressor with ammonia refrigerant. The partnership addresses demand for sustainable heating in food and beverage manufacturing.

GEA entered exclusive negotiations to sell its French refrigeration contracting and service operations, GEA Refrigeration France SAS, to Syclef. The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2022, subject to approvals.
