SUDAC Air Service, a Veolia subsidiary, won a three-year contract to maintain compressed air installations at three Franciliane (SEDIF) drinking water plants in the Paris region, starting January 2025.

Veolia, through its subsidiary SIDEM, will engineer and supply key technology for the Hassyan seawater desalination plant in Dubai, commissioned by DEWA and ACWA Power. The reverse osmosis plant will have a capacity of 818,000 cubic meters per day and is due to start operating in 2026. The announcement is dated May 14, 2024.

Veolia will supply high-quality recycled plastic from processed consumer plastic waste for L'Oreal's packaging worldwide. The recycled material is produced with Veolia's pelletisation technology and is said to match virgin plastic quality.

Tetra Pak, in collaboration with Veolia, intends to recycle used beverage cartons across the European Union by 2025, recovering paperboard and polymer-aluminium material.

Unilever and Veolia agreed to collaborate on processes and technologies for a circular economy on plastics waste, including used packaging collection, supporting Unilever's target of 25% recycled plastic content by 2025.

Metso signed an agreement to deliver about 150 on-off and control valves for the Kilpilahti combined heat and power plant in Porvoo, Finland, planned for commissioning in 2018. The order value was not disclosed.
