Mellifiq

Axolot Solutions, part of Mellifiq group, was awarded a contract worth nearly SEK 12 million for PFAS treatment of leachate and process water at SÖRAB's Löt waste facility in Vallentuna, Sweden.

Mellifiq signed a multi-million dollar EPC contract with a pulp mill to install a 640 m³/h electrocoagulation wastewater treatment system, the largest in Europe. The system is scheduled to commence operations in 2025.

Aspa Bruk ordered a complete AxoPur water treatment plant from Mellifiq (Axolot's partner) for its pulp mill in Olshammar, Sweden, with an initial capacity of 640 m³/h, to be commissioned in December 2025. Axolot expects direct revenue of about SEK 11 million.

Axolot Solutions Holding has agreed to sell its subsidiary Axolot Solutions AB to Mellifiq AB. The transaction values Axolot Solutions AB at SEK 50 million and Mellifiq at SEK 252.4 million, with Axolot Holding becoming a 16.5% shareholder in Mellifiq. A separate license agreement grants Mellifiq exclusive rights to market Axolot's technology in Sweden and Norway.

Mellifiq announced a collaboration with Vatten & Avfall i Sälen-Malung (VAMAS) to reduce pharmaceutical residues at the Sälfjället wastewater treatment plant using a customized containerized water treatment system, funded by grants from Naturvårdsverket.

Mellifiq has been awarded two multi-million Euro projects for tertiary treatment extensions for micropollutant removal at wastewater treatment plants in northern Sweden. Mellifiq will act as general contractor, including process design, construction, and commissioning.

Mellifiq acquired Ozonetech, a company specializing in air and water treatment using advanced oxidation technologies, to complement its offering.

Mellifiq raised a significant investment from a consortium led by impact investor Anders Jacobson to accelerate international expansion. The company also acquired Ozonetech, which complements its water filtration and industrial air solutions.
