Kersia announced an exclusive agreement to acquire Sopura, a specialist in hygiene for the food and brewery market. The acquisition will strengthen Kersia's presence in the beverage market and expand its geographic reach in Asia-Pacific and Africa.

Kersia, a global food safety company, has acquired Holchem, a UK-based hygiene technology solutions provider, from Ecolab. Holchem has a turnover of approximately £47 million and employs over 200 people.
