Unimicron to expand IC substrate capacity at Taoyuan plant
Unimicron Technology raised its capital expenditure to NT$24.07 billion and plans to expand capacity at its Taoyuan Yangmei plant by 10-15% for advanced IC substrates used in CPUs and GPUs. The new capacity is expected to be fully utilized by the second half of 2024.

Unimicron to invest NT$26.5B in IC substrate plants in Taiwan
Unimicron Technology (欣興電子) will invest over NT$26.5 billion to develop 2.5D high-end IC substrate production at its Shanying plant in Taoyuan and build a new smart factory in Yangmei, Taoyuan, creating nearly 700 jobs.
