SCIO Automation Group acquired MFI GmbH, an automation solutions provider for the food industry, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction was subject to antitrust approval and completed in December 2020.

SCIO Automation Group acquired Industrial Automation LLC, a US-based automation company headquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan, as of August 31, 2020. The acquisition marks SCIO's entry into the North American market.

Schiller Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, part of SCIO Automation Group, has acquired Mojin Robotics GmbH, a specialist in autonomous transport vehicles and robotic solutions.

SCIO Automation GmbH acquired the AUTKOM Group, an automation solutions provider specializing in planning, construction and commissioning of complete automation solutions. AUTKOM was renamed SCIO Automation Ladenburg GmbH.
