Acacia Communications

Cisco and Acacia Communications announced an amended merger agreement under which Cisco will acquire Acacia for $115 per share in cash, or approximately $4.5 billion on a fully diluted basis.

Cisco agreed to acquire Acacia Communications, a supplier of high-speed optical interconnect technologies, for $70 per share in cash, or approximately $2.6 billion net of cash and marketable securities.
