Armacell and smartMELAMINE announced a cooperation agreement for the global commercialization of high-performance melamine-based non-wovens for thermal and acoustic insulation in transportation and industrial applications. The initial term is 2 years with extension possibilities.

smartMelamine d.o.o. officially started industrial production of meltblown nonwovens made of melamine at its facility in Kocevje, Slovenia, in September 2018.
