TekniPlex Healthcare has acquired Seisa Medical, a contract development and manufacturing organization. The acquisition transforms TekniPlex into a fully capable CDMO.

TekniPlex Healthcare signed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Seisa Medical, a medical device manufacturer with facilities in the US, Mexico and Slovakia employing over 2,000 people. The acquisition enhances TekniPlex's capabilities in minimally invasive and interventional therapies.

Seisa Medical acquired Burpee MedSystems, a manufacturer of stents and delivery systems, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction was funded through Seisa's $52 million senior secured credit facility.
