Currenta completed the Cube program, investing about €50 million in infrastructure at Chempark Dormagen. The largest sub-project is a new 6.6 MW cooling center that has started operation to support Bayer's crop science expansion.

Momentive has opened a €30 million production plant for NXT-brand silanes in Chempark Leverkusen, Germany. The facility is the first NXT plant in Europe and doubles Momentive's capacity in its fastest-growing product line.
