Bilfinger

RWE has commissioned Sunfire to supply a 100 MW alkaline electrolyser and Bilfinger to build auxiliary systems for the third construction phase of its 300 MW GET H2 Nukleus green hydrogen plant in Lingen, Germany, with commissioning planned for 2027. The contract value is in the low hundred-million-euro range.

Bilfinger UK and Global E&C, through the newly formed Torus BGP joint venture, won a major contract from CNR International covering operations, maintenance and engineering for the Ninian South, Ninian Central and Tiffany platforms in the UK North Sea. Financial terms were not disclosed.

INOVYN has taken over and received the Venus expansion project at its PVC factory in Herøya Industrial Park, Porsgrunn, raising PVC paste resin capacity from 40,000 to 55,000 tonnes a year. Bilfinger handled project management, detailed engineering, procurement and facility management.

Bilfinger won two contracts worth £350m to design, procure, fabricate and build pipework and specialist equipment for Hinkley Point C nuclear station, creating 350 jobs at UK sites including Warrington, Humberside, Bristol and Somerset.

Bilfinger Middle East was awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco for engineering, procurement and construction of a new air-pressure system at the Berri Gas Plant in Saudi Arabia, due for completion by the end of 2019.

Grossmann Group is starting production of Roediger vacuum sewerage equipment under a license from Bilfinger at its Compressor Complex site in St Petersburg, with a service center, and is investing 10 million euros. The news was reported on November 22, 2017.
