SK Telecom

SK Telecom separated its AI semiconductor business and established SAPEON Inc. as an independent corporation in the United States, as the first joint project of the ICT alliance. The incorporation occurred in early January 2022.

SK Group announced plans to launch a consultative body and create a fund worth 1 trillion won ($835 million) to grow SK Telecom, SK Square, and SK Hynix with a focus on ICT. The announcement was made on January 9, 2022.

CS announced a contract to supply optical repeaters to SK Telecom. The contract is worth 1.67 billion won, with a period from September 5 to December 15, 2018.
