Moselektroshchit

Russia's Inter RAO is acquiring Ural Turbine Works, the largest Russian producer of steam turbines, from MosElektroShchit. The deal strengthens Inter RAO's machinery capabilities.

Moselektroshchit, part of the Moselektro Group, plans to invest about 600 million rubles in a new production facility in Kovrovsky District, Vladimir Oblast, from 2018 to 2021. The plant will produce switchgear, bus ducts and low-voltage devices, creating 450 jobs. Full capacity is expected in Q4 2021.
