Adler Pelzer Holding GmbH completed the acquisition of a 73.25% stake in STS Group AG from Mutares SE & Co. KGaA for €33.3 million. The transaction includes plastics and materials operations in Europe, China and the United States.

STS Group AG, a German supplier of interior and exterior parts for commercial vehicles, will invest $39 million to establish its first U.S. manufacturing operation in Wythe County, Virginia. The facility will create 120 new jobs and supply Volvo Trucks and other automotive customers.

Adler Pelzer Group and Faurecia have agreed to exclusive discussions for APG to acquire Faurecia's Acoustics and Soft Trims (AST) division, which had EUR385 million sales in 2019 and employs about 1,820 people across Europe.

STS Group AG has been awarded a contract by a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer to produce complete truck roof systems made of SMC. The project volume is approximately 230 million EUR over ten years, with production start in Q2 2021. The company plans to build its first US plant in Virginia.

STS Group AG won a strategic order to manufacture innovative hybrid doors for a Chinese battery electric vehicle manufacturer. The order will affect sales starting in the fourth quarter of 2020.
