Mutares completed the acquisition of RDM La Rochette S.A.S. from the Reno De Medici Group. The Valgelon-La Rochette, France plant makes virgin-fibre folding boxboard for pharma and food packaging, with revenues near EUR 120 million and about 300 employees.

Balcke-Dürr Nuklear Service GmbH, a Mutares portfolio company, won the D05.1 Krümmel contract from Vattenfall GmbH to dismantle machine-hall components at the Krümmel nuclear power plant over about two years. The announcement is dated 4 August 2020 and the awarded package is in the low double-digit million euro range.

Munich-based Accursia Capital acquired tinplate packaging maker Klann Packaging from fellow Munich holding company Mutares on 18 May 2020. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Mutares signed an agreement on 8 May 2020 to acquire certain Cooper Standard sealing and rubber fluid transfer system operations in Poland, Italy, Spain and India, including about 2,500 employees, subject to antitrust approval.
