Winpak subsidiary ABI to expand BOPA film capacity in North America
American Biaxis Inc., a subsidiary of Winpak Ltd., is expanding its production capacity for biaxially oriented polyamide (BOPA) films by 11,000 to 14,000 metric tonnes per year, with an investment of over $40 million USD. The additional capacity is expected to be available in the second half of 2019.
