Nova Circular Solutions, a unit of Nova Chemicals, signed a long-term agreement to supply Winpak with post-consumer recycled polyethylene (rPE) under the Syndigo brand for flexible packaging.

Winpak signed a long-term agreement with NOVA Circular Solutions, a NOVA Chemicals unit, to procure post-consumer recycled polyethylene under the SYNDIGO brand for flexible packaging. NOVA's Connersville, Indiana recycling facility is due to start in early 2025.

SK Geocentric and Canadian packaging firm Winpak signed a memorandum of understanding to supply polyethylene and polypropylene made from pyrolysis oil at SK's Ulsan ARC recycling cluster, with a binding contract to follow. The MOU was reported on 23 August 2024.

Winpak Ltd. and its European sister company Wipak formed the Wiicare brand to jointly sell and develop sterile barrier healthcare packaging worldwide. The alliance covers sales, R&D, product management and regulatory affairs, announced on 13 April 2021.

Winpak Ltd. signed a definitive agreement to acquire the net assets and building of Control Group in Norwood, New Jersey, for US$42.2 million, funded from cash on hand.

Winpak's subsidiary has started work on an expansion adding 11,000 to 14,000 metric tonnes of annual BOPA film capacity for sale in North America, with over $40 million to be invested. The additional production is expected to be available in the second half of 2019.
