Rockfon LLC, a subsidiary of Rockwool International, broke ground on its first North American acoustic ceiling panel manufacturing facility in Marshall County, Miss., with an initial investment of $40 million, expected to create 90 jobs and commence production mid-2017.

ROCKWOOL International announced capacity expansion plans through land acquisition to establish three new production facilities in Sweden, Romania and the United States. The land acquisitions are expected to be finalized during 2017.
