Rockfon LLC, a subsidiary of Rockwool International, broke ground on its first North American acoustic ceiling panel manufacturing facility in Marshall County, Miss., with an initial investment of $40 million, expected to create 90 jobs and commence production mid-2017.

Rockfon, part of the ROCKWOOL Group, officially inaugurated its new 130,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Marshall County, Mississippi, for stone wool acoustic ceiling panels. The plant started production in July 2017 and represents a $40 million investment, employing about 90 people.
