EpiWorld International Co., Ltd has received an AIX G5 WW C system from AIXTRON for its cleanroom facilities in Xiamen, China, to expand production capacity for silicon carbide epitaxial wafers. Annual capacity will increase to 60,000 wafers in 2019, with a new 18,000 sqm facility designed for up to 400,000 wafers annually.

AIXTRON will supply multiple AIX 2800G4-TM cluster systems to San'an Optoelectronics for expanding ROY LED production. The tools are scheduled for shipment between Q4/2018 and Q2/2019.

AIXTRON has received an order from Chinese chipmaker Sino-Semiconductor for an AIX 2800G4-TM MOCVD system for the production of VCSEL laser diodes. The system will be delivered in Q4 2018.

Sino-Semiconductor Integrated Optoelectronics Cooperation ordered an AIX 2800G4-TM MOCVD system from AIXTRON for the production of laser diodes. The system will be shipped in Q4/2018.

AIXTRON received a multiple MOCVD system order from IQE for AIX 2800G4-TM reactors to be deployed for GaAs epi-wafer production on 6-inch substrates for VCSEL devices. The systems will be installed in a new production facility in South Wales, with commissioning expected by Q1 2018.
