DSM opened a new production line for Arnitel thermoplastic copolyester in Emmen, the Netherlands, increasing global capacity by 20%.

SRF Limited entered a definitive agreement to sell its Engineering Plastics Business to DSM in an all-cash transaction worth INR 320 crore. The business manufactures engineering plastic compounds for automotive and electrical industries.

DSM and COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co. announced the continued use of Dyneema fiber in mooring ropes for COSCO's oil tankers, expanding the partnership that began in 2008. The deal covers mooring lines for more VLCC vessels.

Veramaris, a joint venture of DSM and Evonik Industries, has picked a Cargill site in Blair, Nebraska, to build a plant making omega-3 fatty acids from algae.
