Iren Energia signed a contract with Ansaldo Energia for the construction of a new 430 MW gas combined cycle plant at the Turbigo site near Milan, Italy. The project is worth approximately €180 million.

Iren S.p.A., through its subsidiary Iren Energia, signed a €180 million EPC contract with Ansaldo Energia for a new 430 MW gas combined cycle at the Turbigo power station in Italy, increasing capacity from 850 MW to 1,280 MW.

IREN Energia awarded Ansaldo Energia a Long Term Service Agreement valued at over €100 million for four combined cycle power plants in Italy: Turin Nord, Moncalieri 2, Moncalieri 3 and Turbigo.
