Çimsa

Çimsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, signed a binding agreement to acquire CEMEX's Buñol White Cement Plant in Valencia, Spain for $180 million. The sale is expected to close in the second half of 2019.

Çimsa plans to move and modernize its Afyon Cement Factory, aiming to triple annual production capacity to 1.5 million tons of clinker. The announcement was made in an interview published on November 10, 2017.

Turkish cement producer Çimsa, a subsidiary of Sabanci Holding, is investing US$120 million to upgrade its Eskisehir and Afyonkarahisar cement plants in 2017. The investment will increase production capacity and broaden the product range.
