GF Linamar LLC

Linamar Corporation agreed to acquire GF Casting Solutions' 50% interest in their joint venture GF Linamar LLC in Mills River, North Carolina, giving Linamar 100% ownership. The JV manufactures aluminum and magnesium structural and powertrain components for automotive and commercial vehicle customers.

GF Linamar celebrated the official opening of its new high-pressure die-casting plant in Mills River, North Carolina. The overall investment over the next five years is approximately $100 million.
