Avedro

Glaukos Corporation will acquire Avedro, Inc. in an all-stock transaction to establish a corneal health franchise. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2019.

Avedro opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Burlington, Mass., to support the domestic US market and increase production of its corneal cross-linking technologies.

Avedro, an ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical device company, secured $42 million in equity and debt financing and opened a new manufacturing facility in Burlington, Massachusetts.
