Trevira will move all air texturing (ATY) processing to Sinterama's site in Bulgaria, affecting about 40 employees at Guben, with completion by 31 March 2020.

Indorama Ventures (IVL) approved a EUR 7.5 million investment package for Trevira's Guben site, including a new POY spinning machine and three more planned, to be finalized by end of June 2020.

Trevira GmbH's owner Indorama Ventures approved approximately €7.5 million in investments for new equipment at the Guben site, affecting polycondensation, spinning and textile processing to produce filament specialties.

Indorama Ventures has signed an agreement to buy the remaining 25% of Trevira Holdings from Italian partner Sinterama, gaining full control of the German polyester fiber and filament producer. The deal is expected to close by the end of April 2017.
