Sinterama

Trevira will move all air texturing (ATY) processing to Sinterama's site in Bulgaria, affecting about 40 employees at Guben, with completion by 31 March 2020.

Indorama Ventures has agreed to acquire Sinterama, a global polyester automotive interiors and colored yarns manufacturer, with five production sites in Italy, Brazil, China and Bulgaria. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2019.

Polygiene developed a new type of yarn with polyester producer Sinterama, adding Polygiene's Permanent Odor Control Technology to 100% recycled fiber Newlife.

Indorama Ventures has signed an agreement to buy the remaining 25% of Trevira Holdings from Italian partner Sinterama, gaining full control of the German polyester fiber and filament producer. The deal is expected to close by the end of April 2017.
