Caverion has been awarded a contract by Hollister Incorporated for the second construction phase of a medical device manufacturing plant in Kaunas, Lithuania. Caverion will implement cleanroom premises, chemical storage and outdoor infrastructure.

Hollister Incorporated announced the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility in Kaunas, Lithuania. Construction began in 2017, and production of ostomy products started in June 2019. The plant will employ 350 or more by end of 2020 and over 500 by 2022.

YIT signed a contract with Hollister Incorporated to construct the second stage of a medical device factory in Kaunas, Lithuania. The deal is worth approximately EUR 25 million, with construction starting in spring 2018 and completion in spring 2019.
