Valence Surface Technologies LLC acquired Fountain Plating Co., Inc., a provider of product finishing services for aerospace and defense, located in Springfield, Massachusetts, on February 14, 2020.

Valence Surface Technologies is expanding its Wichita, Kansas facility by adding a new processing line for parts up to 14 feet, a larger water generation system, and upgraded air handling systems to increase capacity for aerospace and defense work.

Valence Surface Technologies received Nadcap accreditation for a new 10,000-sq.ft. shot peening facility in Everett, Washington, capable of processing large aerostructure components up to 30 feet in length.

Valence Surface Technologies, a portfolio company of Trive Capital, has acquired Magnetic & Penetrant Services Company (MAPSCO), a metal finishing services provider for aerospace and defense industries based in Seattle, Washington.
