Fuyao Glass Industry Group

Fuyao Glass America announced a $34.5 million expansion of its operations in Greenville County, South Carolina, creating 121 new jobs. The expansion includes additional assembly operations for auto glass components.

Fuyao Glass Industry Group will acquire insolvent German car parts maker SAM Automotive Group for EUR58.3 million (USD66.5 million) through its European unit. The deal includes all of SAM's assets including production equipment, raw materials, and finished products.

Fuyao Glass plans to establish a subsidiary in Suzhou's Xiangcheng District with a total investment of about CNY 1 billion to build a plant producing 4 million sets of automotive safety glass per year.
