Private equity investor Snow Peak Capital LLC acquired TurbineAero Inc., a Phoenix-based provider of MRO services for aircraft auxiliary power units. Terms were not disclosed.

Snow Peak Capital has acquired TurbineAero, Inc., the world's largest independent provider of MRO services for aircraft auxiliary power units and aeroengine components.

TurbineAero signed a multiyear services agreement to provide APU MRO services for Spring Airlines Japan's Boeing 737-800 fleet, to be performed at its Thailand facility.

The Gores Group completed the acquisition of Triumph's U.S. APU MRO business (Triumph Air Repair and Triumph Engines) and rebranded the combined entity as TurbineAero, Inc. The acquisition of Triumph Aviation Services – Asia is expected to close in March 2017.
