Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) has been awarded a contract by CEPC to renew four power generation boilers with a combined capacity of 1,360 MW at the Cairo West Power Station in Egypt.

Cairo Electricity Production Company awarded Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems a contract to upgrade the 750 MW Cairo North CCPP Module I near Cairo, Egypt, to increase output and efficiency.

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) signed a contract with Cairo Electricity Production Company (CEPC) to upgrade the Cairo North Combined Cycle Power Station Module I in Egypt. The upgrade will increase output and efficiency of the 750 MW plant, with delivery and commencement scheduled for H2 2018.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction signed a Notice of Award deal with Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company and Cairo Electricity Production Company to supply 650 MW gas turbines and power generators for two power plants in Egypt. Equipment will be delivered by April 2020.
