SSE contracted Siemens for a full turnkey solution for the Keadby 2 power plant in Lincolnshire, UK, powered by an SGT-9000HL gas turbine with 63% efficiency. SSE will spend £350 million on the 840 MW plant.

ScottishPower Renewables awarded a contract to Van Oord and Seajacks to transport and install foundation jackets for the East Anglia One offshore wind farm. The contract supports 140 existing Seajacks jobs and will create up to 75 new jobs.

DONG Energy Wind Power contracted Nexans to supply and terminate 139 km of 34 kV subsea cable for the Hornsea Project One wind farm, with supply starting in spring 2018.

ScottishPower Renewables awarded Harland and Wolff a contract to deliver 24 steel foundation jackets for the East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm, supporting up to 200 jobs in Belfast.

Harland and Wolff has won a multimillion-pound contract from ScottishPower Renewables to manufacture 24 steel foundation jackets for the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm. The project will secure 200 jobs in Belfast and is due to begin in March 2017.

ScottishPower Renewables has signed a contract with Lamprell to fabricate 60 steel foundation jackets for the £2.5 billion East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm.
