Nexans has been selected to supply its Windlink pre-terminated cable system and 66 kV T-connectors for the WindFloat Atlantic 25 MW floating offshore wind farm off Portugal. The project is due online in 2019.

Pfisterer, in cooperation with JDR, received an order to supply Connex cast resin joints and plug connectors for the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm, which will feature 102 Siemens 7 MW turbines.

JDR installed a new 40m-long horizontal layup machine (HLM) at its Hartlepool facility, the largest of its type in the world, to manufacture steel tube umbilicals for offshore oil and gas and renewables.

JDR was awarded a contract by VBMS (UK) to supply 155 km of intra-array cables for ScottishPower Renewables' East Anglia One offshore wind farm. The cables will be manufactured at JDR's Hartlepool facility, with delivery scheduled for Q1 2019.
